We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Kincardine or Pickering, Ontario. As a key member of our Installed Base Business Unit, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to secure contracts and grow the business while maintaining required sales margins.

With a strong background in sales management, relationship development, and communication skills, you will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to optimize the team's offers. Your ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans will drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will:

  • Leverage your expertise in people/sales management, relationship development, and financial savvy to drive business results
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to expand our customer base and increase sales revenue
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
  • Forecast and manage budgets to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Travel up to 50% to meet with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 10 years of experience in sales management, with 5 years in the energy sector
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management (both internal and customer)
  • Financial and negotiating savvy
