Job Title: First Cook

We are seeking a skilled First Cook to join our team at Whistler Tacos La Cantina. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Prepare and cook meals, including dishes for customers with food allergies
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in food preparation and handling
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Standing for extended periods and working under pressure
