Accessibility Coordinator for Employee Accommodations

Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting an Employee Disability and Accommodation Coordinator based out of Calgary, Edmonton, or Winnipeg. This is a temporary (6-month) position with the possibility for extension.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate and implement accommodation, disability, and return-to-work programs for employees to ensure equal access and opportunities in the workplace.
- Assess accommodation requests, provide guidance on accommodation options, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with departments such as Training, Operations, Scheduling, CATSA, OH&S, and Union Locals to assess employee needs.
- Ability to acquire Transportation Security Clearance (TSC)/no unpardoned criminal background.
- Canadian Citizen or PR.
- 1-3 years of experience in disability management, employee accommodations, or Human Resources (preferably in a unionized environment).
