About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at Shell Canada. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising a team of sales staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of 3-4 sales staff
  • Merchandise Management
    • Order merchandise and authorize returns
    • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Sales and Customer Service
    • Sell merchandise to customers
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes and personnel matters
    • Manage cash and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail sales environment
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
Working Conditions

The Sales Team Lead will work in a retail store environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds is required.
