About the Role

Hitachi Energy Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead eMobility projects across Canada. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing projects within the cost and time limits, ensuring customer satisfaction, and developing clear interfaces between stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute projects within budget and timeline
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and delivery activities
  • Monitor project progress and produce regular reports for customer and internal review
  • Validate project budgets and monitor monthly estimates
  • Develop project execution plans and support quality and EH&S plans
  • Review contracts and ensure compliance with quality, packing, shipping, and documentation requirements
  • Support site management in executing site activities
  • Perform risk and opportunity management, including mitigation and action plans

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in managing engineered product delivery projects
  • Excellent communication, management, and leadership skills
  • Strong organization skills, proactive, result-oriented
  • Business-minded with strong conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to influence people and build trust and credibility
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
  • Very good knowledge of contractual, legal, and commercial aspects
  • Flexibility, tact, and diplomacy
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field (asset)
  • Experience in manufacturing of engineered products in electrical or transportation sectors (asset)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP (asset)
  • PMP certification (asset)
