We are currently seeking a Medical Oncology Specialist to join our team at BC Cancer Nanaimo. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of creating a lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada.

The successful candidate will have a commitment to upholding the principles of Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism, with knowledge of the social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting Indigenous communities. Familiarity with reports such as the TRC (2015) and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019) is essential.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $160,000 - $220,000 per year, commensurate with experience. The role involves providing medical oncology services, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with various types of cancer. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive cancer care.

Requirements
  • Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License - Full
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
