Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team at Argus Security Services Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventing and detecting shoplifting and theft in retail establishments, as well as enforcing regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Produce reports
  • Enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts and to monitor establishment activities
  • Operate security control room equipment
  • Patrol assigned areas
  • Prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail loss prevention
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Attention to detail and ability to stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Security Guard License
  • MS Excel and MS Word skills
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a retail environment, with a focus on preventing and detecting shoplifting and theft. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
