Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our pilot project support team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our pilot-scale water treatment equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, including pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
  • Collect and analyze water samples to ensure optimal treatment performance.
  • Communicate daily with project managers to report issues and concerns.
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe and professional manner, meeting or exceeding customer and Veolia's safety policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work site and work area.

Requirements

  • Practical experience with mechanical and/or electrical equipment, with a focus on water treatment equipment.
  • Proficiency in standard computer software programs, including MS Office.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required, with French considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA, with the possibility of international travel.
  • Ability to perform light manual tasks, including lifting and using hand and power tools.
  • Commitment to a 12-16 month contract.
