Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Donna Morris Cleaning Services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure our clients' homes and facilities are clean and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing for extended periods, and walking.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Punctuality, dependability, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
