Xendara Career College is seeking a skilled Guidance Counsellor to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for a Guidance Counsellor who can provide academic guidance and support to our students. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with students, parents, and teachers.
Key Responsibilities- Counsel students on educational, career, and vocational issues
- Coordinate the provision of counselling and information services to students, parents, and teachers
- Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences, and workshops
- Develop guidance and counselling programs
- Arrange for recruitment of graduating students by employers
- Visit colleges and secondary schools to provide academic information to prospective students, their parents, and educational institutions
- Prepare and deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, and symposia
