Job Title: Research Biologist

Vancouver Radiology Inc is seeking a highly skilled Research Biologist to join our team. As a Research Biologist, you will be responsible for conducting research in biotechnology to discover, develop, and refine new products. You will also supervise laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct biostatistical data analysis using computer modeling techniques
  • Maintain, update, and manage health information databases
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Compile and analyze statistical information provided by private and public healthcare institutions and organizations
  • Conduct clinical or laboratory studies to test, evaluate, and screen drugs, pharmaceuticals, and nanoparticles used in biomedical applications
  • Organize conferences and meetings
  • Prepare research papers, educational texts, or articles
  • Conduct literature reviews
  • Design and implement health and wellness projects or programs
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of health projects and programs
  • Co-ordinate workshops
  • Co-ordinate multidisciplinary projects
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia
  • Monitor and compile research results
  • Offer mentoring
Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
