Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team at Headquarters Restaurant & Bar. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables, present bills to customers, and accept payment.
  • Communication: Describe menu items, including daily specials, and advise on menu selections.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and team player.
