Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team at JUNNIR MECHANIC REPAIR SHOP as a Mechanic Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to our mechanics and tradespersons in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics and tradespersons with tasks such as moving tools and equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and signaling safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help with cleaning machines and immediate work areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Support the team with tasks such as handling heavy loads and assisting with workload management.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • This role requires a high level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel are essential for this role.
Personal Suitability
  • We are looking for a dependable and organized individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
  • The ideal candidate will be a team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Work Environment
  • This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week.
