Job Title: Financial Planner II

We are seeking a skilled Financial Planner II to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a Financial Planner II, you will be responsible for managing and growing a dedicated client portfolio through key relationship management, creating comprehensive financial plans, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a dedicated client portfolio through key relationship management.
  • Create comprehensive financial plans to meet clients' needs and goals.
  • Provide exceptional client service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proactively engage with clients to understand their financial goals and develop tailored financial plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements:
  • 1.5-3 years of experience in a financial advisory role managing and growing a client portfolio.
  • Current accreditation and good standing for CIRO-ID licensing requirements.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) written within the past 3 years.
  • Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, or Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) designation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
