As a Senior Systems Engineering Expert, you will be responsible for helping all IT teams implement the necessary mechanisms to improve and maintain the highest standards of resilience and availability of IT services.


Your role

  • Promote best practices for resiliency and stability among application and infrastructure teams.
  • Understand the main flows of our critical environments and identify single points of failure.
  • Support IT teams to improve their documentation and architecture diagrams to include resilience and stability information.
  • Be able to perform application development and automate as needed.
  • Promote and increase the automation of IT tasks to reduce human error.
  • Perform end-to-end stability analysis and provide recommendations to improve system performance and resiliency.
  • Promote good monitoring practices and support IT teams in implementing key indicators of resilience and stability.
  • Support IT teams following major events impacting the resilience of their systems.
  • Influence the development strategy of SREs by establishing an RREs practice.
  • Influence and help prioritize automation and optimization opportunities.
  • This role is key to delivering our development plan to achieve our quality objectives.
  • You will also have a transversal view of the IT Delivery, Payment, Cards, Data, and Transversal aspects.

Requirements

  • 10 years of expertise in developing online services in a complex environment composed of new and old technologies.
  • Expertise in software design of complex systems supporting thousands of competing clients.
  • Excellent understanding of DevSecOPS, monitoring, and observability principles.
  • Knowledge of MongoDB, Redis, and SQL database technologies.
  • Experience with AWS cloud technology (service development, deployment, automation, and operations).
  • Experience in infra capacity analysis (CPU, Memory, Latency, IO, Bandwidth, etc).
  • Experience in load testing and analysis.
  • Great ability to solve complex multi-system problems.
  • Excellent understanding of DevSecOPS and SRE principles, monitoring, and observability.
  • Expertise in complex ecosystem monitoring.
