Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our Support Services Office team. As a key member of our construction, planning, and real estate team, you will play a vital role in supporting the administrative and coordination tasks for our senior living homes property.
Key Responsibilities- Review and process incoming invoices, ensuring timely submission to Accounts Payable
- Communicate with vendors regarding outstanding invoices, errors, and discrepancies
- Create cheque requisitions, obtain approvals, and submit to AP for generation
- Manage project budgets in Yardi, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information
- Assist in preparing project proformas and updates on an ongoing basis
- Create purchase orders and contracts in Yardi, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with the Finance team to identify items in Yardi requiring reclassification
- Consolidate files required for cost consultants on a monthly basis
- Liaise with the Finance team for monthly cost report reviews
- Organize and maintain folder structures and shared team drives, ensuring easy access to information
- Prepare MLTC project milestone submissions to the Ministry, ensuring timely and accurate information
- Attend weekly/biweekly project meetings, actioning outstanding SSL items
- Assist with preparing weekly and monthly development updates
- Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure all necessary items are included in the Owner Supplied Equipment package
- Perform other duties as assigned by the team lead
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with a "can-do" attitude, able to take initiative and work productively under demanding timelines
- Ability to handle sensitive and complex issues with discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment
- Solid organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
