Heavy Duty Parts Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Parts Person to join our Peterbilt dealership in London for an afternoon shift. This role involves assisting customers in locating required parts, providing pricing, and completing online parts orders.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Unload, receive, and store incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard
  • Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches
  • Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required
  • Place inventory stock orders
  • Make inventory and bin adjustments
  • Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information
  • Operate parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems
  • Other duties as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Effective customer service skills with ability to build lasting partnerships with customers both over the phone and in person
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate peak seasons; including working shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills
  • Able to work without direct supervision
  • Able to work in a high-pressure environment safely
  • Strong communication skills with ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and company policies and procedures
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from coworkers, managers, customers, and the general public

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
