We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Personal Household. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' homes, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

About the Job

As a Housekeeping Professional, you will work independently to clean and maintain the home, including tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and laundry. You will also be responsible for restocking supplies and performing other light housekeeping duties as needed.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have no degree, certificate or diploma, but you should be willing to learn and take direction. Previous experience is not necessary, as we provide on-the-job training. You should be physically able to perform the tasks required of the job and have good communication skills.

Work Setting

You will work in the employer's/client's home, typically in a rural area. Relocation costs may be covered by the employer. The home environment can vary, but you can expect to work in a private residence or an employer's home.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to a high standard
  • Dust all furniture and surfaces to create a clean and hygienic environment
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and allergens
  • Make beds and change sheets to maintain a comfortable and tidy atmosphere
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed
  • Stock linen closets with fresh supplies
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to prevent the spread of germs
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas that require special attention
  • Handle and report lost and found items promptly
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items with a smile
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to keep the environment clean
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene when required
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed to maintain the home's overall cleanliness
  • Shop for food and household supplies within budget
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to ensure a sparkling finish
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a high level of hygiene
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Salary and Benefits
