Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive nursing services to patients. This role requires strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the medical record.
  • Maintain professional knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies.
  • Support new staff members during their orientation process.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A diploma or degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
  • Current immunization for hepatitis B, influenza, measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus, and diphtheria, COVID-19.
  • Current tuberculin skin testing (within 6 months before date of hire).
  • Experience working in an acute care post-anesthetic care unit environment, preferably with PACU experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of regional anesthesia, neuroaxial anesthesia, multimodal analgesia, and chronic pain.
