Job Title: Security Guard

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for providing exceptional security services to our clients, ensuring the safety and security of our properties, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive and reactive security patrols and respond to incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to emergencies.
  • Perform highly visible patrols of assigned patrol areas/zones and positively engage with tenants, guests, visitors, and employees.
  • Control vehicle traffic on the property and maintain strong knowledge of activities and special events.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid, CPR, or AED support until medical professionals arrive.
  • Maintain compliance with and enforce property standards, rules, and regulations in a reasonable manner.
  • Deal with trespassers and unauthorized persons found on the property in a fair and safe manner.
  • Assist with Fire & Life Safety inspections and maintain a detailed memo book and prepare incident reports.
  • Investigate incidents and occurrences, and draft detailed incident and occurrence reports.
Requirements:
  • Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and patrol by foot and vehicle for extended periods (8-12 hours).
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and have at least 1 year of prior security experience.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, and a strong command and fluency in the English language.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment both indoors and outdoors as required.
  • Must have a clean driver abstract and be able to handle stress and pressure and make a sound decision under duress.
