Salary Information

We offer an attractive salary range of approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform collections management activities for the holdings of the Northwest Territories (NWT) Archives with specialization in digital records.
  • Ensure documents of significance to the history of the NWT and its people are protected, preserved, and made available to the public.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of standards, workflows, and processes for a digital archives program.
  • Monitor the archival collection and library holdings for preservation and security.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Masters' Degree program in Archival Studies.
  • One year of experience in archives.
  • One year of experience working with relevant digital tools, technology, and metadata standards in an archival repository.
