Job Description

The ideal candidate for this Acquisitions and Mergers Executive Leader role should possess 7+ years of progressive work experience at an accounting, corporate development, investment banking, and/or private equity firm, with experience executing transactions.

The Director will play a lead role throughout the entire M&A process, independently leading transactions from start to finish. Key responsibilities include:

  • Nurturing relationships with owner/operators, public corporations, investment bankers, and PE/VC funds.
  • Qualifying targets for fit and deal probability through early conversations with business owners/senior executives and reviewing initial diligence materials.
  • Analyzing target company financial/operational information, forming investment strategies, and building detailed valuation models.
  • Preparing and negotiating indicative offers and LOIs.
  • Leading the due diligence process, coordinating across multiple internal teams.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written) with an emphasis on relationship building and report writing.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Able to work variable hours and travel when required.
