Senior Data Scientist for Financial Analysis

Infotek Consulting Services Inc. is a leading provider of data-driven solutions, and we are currently seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Toronto.

As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in assisting our clients with running complex workflows using Alteryx. Your primary responsibility will be developing and maintaining workflow processes, as well as analyzing large financial datasets to identify trends and insights that can inform business decisions.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in Alteryx, SQL, and experience working with large financial datasets. You should also possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively present your findings to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience with Alteryx, 5+ years of experience with SQL, and 5+ years of experience working with large financial datasets. A strong understanding of data sets in banking and finance environments is also essential, including concepts such as balance sheets, statements, and general ledgers.

In addition to your technical skills, you should be able to articulate complex technical findings to a business audience and possess the ability to analyze and investigate large datasets to present findings to stakeholders.

This is a hybrid contract opportunity, offering a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. The contractor will work primarily on-site but has the option to work from home for up to 2 days per week. There is also a possibility for extension based on workload.
