Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in hospitality operations and management.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and engineering departments. They will work closely with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities across multiple departments to ensure seamless delivery of services to guests;
  • Establish and maintain high standards of cleanliness, quality, and safety throughout the hotel;
  • Supervise a team of 11-15 employees, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations as needed;
  • Develop and manage budgets for departmental expenses, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial targets;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, using data to inform decision-making and drive business improvement;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to enhance the hotel's competitive position.
Requirements
  • Degree in Hospitality or related field (or equivalent experience);
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel operations management or a related field;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines;
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $$$60,000 - $$$70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
