We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Taunton Commercial Bakery Inc. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and processing meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Prepare Meat: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring high-quality products for our customers.
- Cut and Trim Meat: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, adhering to our quality standards.
- Wrap and Package: Wrap and package prepared meats, ensuring efficient and safe handling.
- Remove Bones and Weigh: Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale, maintaining accuracy and precision.
- Cut Poultry and Fish: Cut poultry into parts and clean and prepare fish and shellfish, following our guidelines.
- Supervise and Assist: Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Grind and Prepare Sausages: Grind meats and make special sausages, adhering to our recipes and quality standards.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
