Project Manager I Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager I to lead and coordinate all aspects of current projects undertaken by our department. The successful candidate will ensure timely and budget-friendly completion of project deliverables, as outlined in the project plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish detailed project charters, plans, and objectives to outline timelines and project deliverables.
  • Track project progress according to project plan and identified metrics, monitoring and reporting on project status and major barriers encountered.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of project budgets within the context of operations demands and environmental and resource constraints.
  • Provide leadership by giving advice or guidance in situations that require interpretation and judgment.

Requirements

  • A Master's Degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, or a relevant healthcare discipline, with a minimum of five years' recent experience in project management and facilitating consultation processes with various stakeholder groups.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies, with the ability to coach team members on these skills.
  • Experience or working knowledge of content areas is key to the success of this role, with excellent communication skills to function within a complex interdisciplinary environment.
