About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hospital Based Ophthalmic Technician to work up patients and interact with a small team in our Ophthalmology department.

Key Responsibilities

  • To perform visual work-ups on patients, including history, medications, vision, corneal pachymetry, intraocular pressure, autorefraction, OCT, and biometry.
  • Input data into EPIC and assist with setting up for in-office procedures.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, preparing for clinics, and interacting with patients and hospital staff.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of practical experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, computer skills, and previous experience with Oscar or EPIC software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
