Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement people and culture strategies that support Payworks' strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with key leaders on the execution of complex people and culture plans and initiatives, including organizational design, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Provide guidance to resolve conflicts, disciplinary issues, and conduct workplace investigations, serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees.
  • Drive and support organizational and departmental human resources initiatives, including health and wellness strategies and plans.

Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPHR/CHRP Candidate designation or a strong desire to obtain the CPHR certification.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in an advisory capacity within a multi-department organization.
  • Bilingual in French and English would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of functional human resources disciplines, including talent acquisition, learning and development, HR planning, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create and deliver presentations, facilitate discussions, and draft policies or documents.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive positive HR outcomes.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.

We are proud to support a Flexible Work Plan that recognizes the diverse needs and lifestyles of our people. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner has the option to work fully out of the Winnipeg head office or on a hybrid work model, working in the office at least three (3) days a week.
