Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at Blue Sea Plumbing & Heating Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, with experience in reading blueprints, determining piping system requirements, and measuring, cutting, and bending pipes.

Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in the plumbing industry.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.

Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a physically demanding environment, with regular bending, crouching, and kneeling. They will also require hand-eye coordination and accurate work.

Personal Suitability: We are looking for a candidate who is accurate, efficient, and has excellent interpersonal skills.
