Environmental Science Lecturer Opportunity at the University of Toronto

As a Sessional Lecturer in Environmental Science at the University of Toronto, you will have the opportunity to teach and communicate with undergraduate students. The successful candidate will be required to hold a PhD or MSc from a recognized post-secondary institution in Environmental Science or a closely related field.
The estimated salary for this position is $10,570.02 per year, inclusive of vacation pay. This rate is based on the collective agreement and applies to half courses (F or S) starting September 1, 2023.
The job description includes preparation of lectures, lecturing, creation of exams, term tests, and assignments, marking, marks management, management of Quercus, supervision of TA(s). Schedule for the course: Lectures will take place on Tuesdays from 3-5 pm at the UTSC Campus.
We are seeking candidates who have an outstanding ability to teach and communicate with undergraduate students. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience teaching particularly in the area of environmental risk assessment, auditing and remediation. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a post-secondary environment is preferred.
