Job Title: Truck Driver Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team at Sahi Logistics Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Oversee the daily activities of our truck drivers, ensuring they are aware of their schedules, routes, and delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor and Report: Prepare and submit regular reports on driver performance, vehicle maintenance, and logistics operations.
  • Train and Develop: Provide training and coaching to drivers to improve their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to handle the demands of the job.
  • Dispatch and Route Planning: Coordinate with dispatchers to plan and optimize routes, ensuring timely delivery of goods and minimizing delays.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all drivers and operations staff adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Materials and Equipment: Coordinate the requisition and ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring that our operations are well-stocked and equipped.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
