IT Technician Level 1-2

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT technician to join our team at Fed IT. As an IT technician, you will be responsible for providing first and second-level support for incidents reported by users related to the office and telephone environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process service requests and assist technicians in the management and maintenance of office and telephone environments.
  • Analyze incidents, identify underlying causes, and propose appropriate corrective solutions.
  • Train users on new technologies and computer system updates.
  • Recommend fixes and improve existing documentation and procedures.
  • Manage inventory of IT equipment, such as computers, cell phones, and tablets.
  • Collaborate with team members and the Head of Information Technology to identify opportunities for improvement and propose fixes relating to support, procedures, and management of the office environment.
  • Provide support to the network administrator in his responsibilities.
  • Perform any other related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in office automation and IT support in an IT department.
  • Solid experience with Windows 10 operating system.
  • Expertise in the administration of Office products, including the 365 cloud version.
  • Experience with SCCM and Intune.
  • Good command of Microsoft cloud computing environments (OneDrive, Azure AD, etc.).
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and DNS networks.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, an asset.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, an asset.
  • Interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good management of priorities.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Constant concern for quality.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
