Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $40,000 per year

Job Description:

As a Retail Sales Associate at Al Salam Bakery, you will be the face of our company. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, processing payments, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
  • Scan items and receive payment for goods or services.
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean counter area.
  • Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience.
  • Wrap or place merchandise in bags.
  • Weigh produce and bulk foods.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements:
  • Education:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience:
  • Will train the right candidate.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Standing for extended periods.
