We are seeking a seasoned arts professional to lead the Burlington Performing Arts Centre as our next Executive Director. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of a thriving arts organization.
About the RoleThe Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of the Centre, including programming, marketing, fundraising, and community engagement. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of the performing arts industry, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
About the CentreThe Burlington Performing Arts Centre is a state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of downtown Burlington. With a seating capacity of 718, the Centre hosts a variety of performances and events throughout the year, including concerts, plays, and musicals. The Centre is also a popular venue for corporate events and community gatherings.
Requirements- Minimum 7 years of experience in leading performing arts venues
- University degree in arts and/or business management or equivalent experience
- Excellent financial and organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership in human resources management, community partnerships, board relations, and fund-raising
- Political savvy and diplomacy
- Good oral and written communication skills
