Job Title: Lead Carpenter

Drake International is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of various building components, including walls, roofing systems, and trim.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpentry teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Develop and implement construction plans and schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient use of equipment and tools.
  • Train and mentor junior carpenters to develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in carpentry and construction management.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
