Warehouse Operations Specialist

At Guillevin International, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse / Delivery professional. This role is responsible for receiving, verifying, and stocking merchandise, preparing orders, packing goods, and shipping orders in a timely manner.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensure the warehouse is tidy and merchandise is placed in the correct location.
- Maintain productivity and safety in the warehouse and yard.
- Fill orders accurately and on time.
- Pack goods for damage-free shipment and ship in an accurate and timely manner.
- Offload trucks, check for missing and damaged merchandise.
- Receive and verify shipments, placing merchandise in stock in an orderly fashion.
- Locate related customer backorders and advise customers of their arrival.
- Maintain merchandise displays in an attractive manner.
- Provide sales support at the counter as needed, greeting customers, preparing orders, and merchandising.
- Deliver orders when required.
- Experience in a similar position is an asset.
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and meet key deadlines.
- Team player, adaptable, energetic, and positive professional attitude.
- Demonstrated initiative to self-improvement of business and product skills.
- Good PC skills, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proactive in finding ways to improve productivity in the warehouse.
- Ability to handle items under 50lbs.
- Valid forklift certificate is an asset; otherwise, training will be provided.
- Full G driver's license.
