At ProteinQure, we are revolutionizing the field of computational drug design by developing a cutting-edge platform for peptide therapeutics. Our innovative approach combines computational biophysical models with statistical and machine learning techniques to enable the discovery of novel therapeutics outside of the conventional chemical space.

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in system administration and a passion for IT to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of our computational infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain on-premise and cloud cluster infrastructure to support computational workflows.
  • Maintain, improve, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of systems through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and automation.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and researchers to optimize computational resources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to ensure smooth operation of our platform.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
  • Assist in IT-related tasks, including network setup, security configurations, and hardware management.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve infrastructure efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
  • Proficiency with Linux system administration.
  • Proficiency in automation and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Packer).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI).
  • Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Solid understanding of system networking and security.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Knowledge of HPC (High-Performance Computing) environments.
  • Experience with on-prem cluster development and hardware provisioning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
