Hospitalist Physician

We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our team at South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. Our Hospitalist program is a dynamic and supportive environment that provides a range of opportunities for professional growth and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our program. We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a daily rate of $1515.25, with opportunities for fee-for-service billings and callback services.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities, to ensure the highest standards of patient care
- Contribute to the development of our program, through participation in education and research initiatives
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia
- Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association, or proof of alternative coverage
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
