We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Support Assistant to join our team at Rebecca Saycon. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and assistance to adults and seniors in their homes.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with an estimated salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 30-44 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

As a Certified Support Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and companionship to adults and seniors, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Preparing and serving meals, as well as assisting with light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Administering medications and assisting with medical appointments as needed.
  • Assisting clients with exercises and other therapeutic activities, such as walking and pool activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 months of experience in a related field, such as home support or healthcare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of our clients.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
