About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at NORTHERN SMOKES. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that showcase your culinary skills and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
  • Chef Supervision: Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including inventory management, supply ordering, and equipment maintenance.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control food costs to ensure that they remain within budget.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a head chef or equivalent position.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
