About the Role

Astellas Pharma Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that solutions developed meet business goals and user needs.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and objectives, and analyze business processes and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Design solutions that fulfill business requirements, evaluating potential technical solutions for feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals, requirements, and constraints.
  • Participate in the testing of developed solutions to ensure they meet defined requirements and standards, and assist in identifying and documenting bugs or issues for resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Administration in Finance.
  • Relevant experience in business analysis, technical analysis, or a related area, demonstrating a track record of bridging business needs with technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business issues and develop appropriate technical solutions.
  • Good understanding of information technology, software development life cycles, and architectural frameworks, with familiarity with programming languages, databases, and software development tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with diverse groups of stakeholders, including business users, Digital professionals, and management.
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodology, principles, and practices.
  • Expert knowledge in SAP Concur Travel and Expense Modules, with strong knowledge in Concur Request, Expense, and travel processes.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in the areas of SAP Concur with deep industry knowledge, who has been exposed to a full life cycle SAP concur system implementation - from start to finish.
  • Hand-on experience configuring and testing in all modules of Concur- Expense and Travel with integrations to S/4, SF, CPI, GRC, Veeva systems.
  • Great Knowledge of ABAP, and AI in general.
  • Ability to lead blueprint and design sessions to create seamless solutions with customers of concur environment.
  • Add Value by mentoring users in SAP Concur business processes.
  • Basic knowledge of Audit and SOX compliance reports.
