Overview


Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Limited is seeking a seasoned Wind Turbine Project Manager to oversee major component exchanges throughout North America.

Key Responsibilities


As a Wind Turbine Project Manager, you will be accountable for the schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements related to specific work scopes. This will involve the initiation, planning, and execution of assigned projects, as well as acting as a key customer interface and coordinating work activities with internal partners.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A degree or diploma in a Mechanical or Business Management field (asset)
  • PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (asset)
  • 2-5 years of experience in the wind industry, with a focus on technical solutions
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong ability to manage internal and external clients, analyze and resolve problems independently with a high level of results orientation
  • Strong understanding of short and long-term planning
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft platforms like Outlook, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, and other Office 365 Suite programs
  • The ability to travel regularly, typically between Siemens Gamesa wind farm sites to oversee projects in the execution phase, with some international travel on a less regular basis
  • The ability to ascend to heights up to 250 feet or greater, work in confined spaces, discern colors, and meet body weight restrictions of 260 pounds
  • Legally authorized for employment in Canada, without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future

Compensation


The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
