We are seeking a skilled Brick and Tile Layer to join our team at Dreamwork Masonry Ltd. The ideal candidate will have 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in masonry work.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units
  • Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
  • Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
  • Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys


Requirements:


  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Permanent work term
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 32 hours per week
