Bakery Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team at Damascus, Café and bakery. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
- Team Supervision: Supervise 1 to 2 people in the bakery area.
- Food Specialties: Prepare and bake a variety of breads and rolls.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 hours per week in a fast-paced bakery environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Language: English.
