About the Role
This Senior Machine Learning position involves leveraging good knowledge of machine learning algorithms, data structures, statistical models, and Generative AI techniques and models. A strong background in computer science or a related field is essential, with hands-on experience in developing and implementing machine learning (AI) solutions.
The ideal candidate will have excellent collaboration and communication skills, be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Packaging LLM models incorporating Generative AI, deploying them to production environments, and monitoring usage and performance.
- Collaborating with engineers and product managers to integrate Generative AI features into existing systems.
- Experimenting with different Generative AI techniques and architectures to optimize delivery and performance.
- Evaluating and validating the effectiveness of Generative AI models using appropriate metrics.
- Managing ML infrastructure in the cloud.
- Testing models at scale and ensuring CI/CD best practices are followed by the team.
- Diagnosing and resolving ML workflow and production issues quickly.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining machine learning algorithms for machines with limited resources and cloud environments.
- Creating and maintaining scalable feature pipelines.
- Integrating algorithms into current systems in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Writing production-level code to convert ML models into working pipelines.
- Correcting anomalies and problems as they arise.
- Testing implemented features to ensure all acceptance criteria are met.
- Participating in projects from initial idea to launch.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of development activities (agility, automated tests, deployment, etc.).
- Collaborating with the security team to integrate security best practices into software development processes.
- Communicating risks associated with any activity, technology, or process identified.
- Staying up-to-date with developments in the machine learning industry.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- 5+ years of experience with ML model techniques: LLMs, Deep Learning, traditional ML, and predictive modeling.
- 5+ years of experience with Python programming.
- 3+ years of experience building, validating, deploying, and monitoring production models.
- Strong skills in using generative AI to speed up feature delivery.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI techniques and models.
- Experience with ML frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch.
- Experience with infrastructure and tooling for MLOps.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
