Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager - Category Expert to join our team. This individual will be responsible for analyzing category opportunities and developing strategies to grow business for our client, Kimberly-Clark. The successful candidate will have a strong background in account management and category management, with experience working with Consumer Packaged Goods companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify category opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue for Kimberly-Clark.
- Work closely with the LCL/SDM Customer Development team and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Provide training and development to the Sales team to enhance their category knowledge and expertise.
- Present category developments and opportunities to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate key initiatives and developments to Marketing brand management personnel to ensure alignment with category management principles.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4-5 years of experience in account management/category management, preferably with a Consumer Packaged Goods company.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to develop and interpret market, business, and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership behaviors and ability to interact effectively with team members and internal customers.
- Familiarity with Nielsen Discover and CT/ST, Microsoft Office Suite, Space Management Planogram (Modular) Software, and ability to learn new tools as needed.
Estimated Salary Range:$85,000 - $110,000 per year
