Vintage Hotels is currently seeking a highly skilled Pastry Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at The Inn on the Twenty. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
About the Role:
- As Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality pastry dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
- You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all menu requirements are met, and that food stocks are rotated and inventoried regularly.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, as you will be required to supervise and direct kitchen staff members to meet cooking requirements.
- Your knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties' products and services will enable you to suggest additional offerings that cater to our guests' specific preferences.
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our fine dining establishment and advance your career in the culinary industry.
Requirements:
- Certificate in Cooking from a recognized Culinary Institute with apprenticeship program completed.
- No less than 5 years of progressive experience in a fine dining establishment.
- Exceptional decision-making ability, above-average oral communication skills, and good safety training/knowledge.
- Current Safe Food Handler's Certificate.
- Prior up-selling and/or sales experience is considered an asset.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
