Venor, a leading investment company, is seeking an accomplished Senior Director of Property Management to lead their property management team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This pivotal role involves overseeing a diverse property portfolio, driving operational efficiency, and maximizing asset value.

About the Role

This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Financial Officer. As the ideal candidate, you bring at least 5 years of experience in property management, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within the real estate sector.

  • Identify market trends, areas for growth, and new business models to position the company as a leader in the real estate industry.
  • Oversee operations of the real estate holdings, and capital projects related to property enhancement.
  • Conduct regular property assessments and performance reviews, implementing improvements as needed to ensure a KPI's are achieved.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, ensuring effective cost control and revenue maximization.
  • Analyze financial reports, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partner companies, suppliers, real estate professionals, and local business leaders.

A deep expertise in both residential and commercial real estate markets—including development, leasing, and investment—is essential, along with advanced financial acumen.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
