Job Title: Accounting Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at Subway Nanaimo. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll Coordination: Coordinate payroll processing, including calculating and preparing cheques for employees.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Language: English.
