Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planner to join our team at TD Bank. As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and advice to our mass affluent investing clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your expertise and build long-term relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial planning and advice to clients, identifying their life and financial goals and developing comprehensive plans to achieve them
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing services and support to ensure their financial goals are met
  • Conduct regular reviews and analysis to assess the effectiveness of plans and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team and department goals, while maintaining a positive and service-oriented work environment
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients

Requirements:

  • University degree and/or 3-5 years of industry experience
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required
  • IIROC license preferred (required within first 90 days in role)
  • Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days in role
  • IQPF licensing required prior to start date (for Quebec only)
  • Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months in role
  • Achieve Certified Financial Planner designation within first 3 years in role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively and independently
